Introduction: Xi Chen, graduated from department of Chemistry, Technical University of Munich in Germany and obtained his Doctor’s degree of Science in Chemistry in August 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Johannes A. Lercher. His research is focused on the fundamental understanding of hydrogenation reactions over Pt catalysts in the aqueous phase. In December 2021, he joined the department of TS&D-HTV of Dow, in charge of Moldable Optical Silicones, especially for auto lamp applications.
